Commandant Colonel David Seddon (ACF) has said:
"To achieve the rank of Cadet RSM is an outstanding achievement . the training, commitment and leadership skills shown in order to attain the status of highest ranking Cadet in the County are to a very high standard. With this in mind I am proud to announce Cadet RSM Donovan as the new Merseyside ACF Cadet RSM. Huge congratulations and well done Cadet RSM."
Major Michael Croft (ACF) Commanding Officer of 2 Compnay said:
"Thoroughly well deserved. Cadet RSM Donovan always shows a positive can do attitude to overcome of any obstacles and she has developed her leadership style and passes on her knowledge and experience to inspire and train younger Cadets. A positive role model to all Cadets showing what can be achieved. Well done Cadet RSM Donovan."

RSMI Carcmichael who was on the interview panel for the new appointment of Cadet RSM told us:
"The appointment of Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major is the highest achievement (rank) for a Cadet to attain during their ACF career and is only gained through showing great leadership skills, hard work and dedication.
After successfully participating in a promotions board at Annual Camp, Cdt RSM Donovan was selected from a group of other candidates to become our next Cadet RSM. Through her actions within her Detachment and Company, Cdt RSM Donovan has actively encouraged and promoted our values and standards, she is a great example of what we expect from our Senior Cadets, and she is a fantastic role model for all cadets within the County. Congratulations Cdt RSM Donovan, Well done!"
