Cornwall Army Cadets Fieldcraft camp

This weekend, cadets from across Cornwall took part in a Fieldcraft weekend camp.

We ran a 1 star cadre which covered some of the basics of Fieldcraft as most of these cadets have only been with us for less athan a year. This included patroling, carrying the rifle and tackling obstacles.

The 2 star training introduced blank firing and section battle drills. They were introduced to moving at night although we were under a new moon so it stayed quite light.

And the 3 and 4 star training cadets took part in ambushing the 2 star cadre, section battle drills, fire control orders and command roles within the section.
