Cooking in the (Field ) Kitchen!
Cadets from Newtown Detachment took cooking in the field (or the kitchen to be more exact) to a whole new level today as they stepped up to the latest challenge laid down by their Detachment Commander, Lt Rachael Jones-Morris.
Which One Would You Pick?!
Newtown are well known for being well up for wild and wacky creative stunts, and the latest challenge to keep them on their toes was to design and bake a cake on the theme of the Army Cadet Force. The clock started ticking yesterday morning, and photographs of the completed entries had to be submitted by 1600hrs today.
There was a mass of fantastic entries, whittled down to the final four. Anticipation is growing now as we await the final results...
But of course, whatever the outcome, there’s been a few days of fun, laughter, creativity, new skills for some, and certainly more than a bit of mess in the kitchens! Oh, and of course - lots of cake to share with their families!
