In a letter from Brigadier Christie OBE, Commander Cadets, 2Lt Treadaway was described as a “natural leader with the crucial ability to listen to others and by doing so you are able to gauge what could become best practice”. Brigadier Christie also paid tribute to 2Lt Treadaway’s work in developing adult instructors as well as cadets and said “senior cadets and potential adults alike in the Sector have benefitted from your excellent training provision and delivery, plus your focus on their development”.
On receiving the award, 2Lt Treadaway said, “I am very proud to have received the Commander Cadets Coin for achievement. I strive in the ACF to improve the cadet experience for Cadets and CFAVs alike. Seeing the impact of my work is reward enough, however I am humbled to have my work acknowledged by both our Commandant, through her nomination, and by Regional Command”.
