With the New Year has come many challenges for all of us especially with the current restrictions the national lockdown and dealing with the pandemic, however every day I am amazed by the efforts of both our Cadets and CFAVs who are going above and beyond to support each other, deliver virtually both interesting training and activities but also opportunity for our Cadets and CFAVs to progress, I believe this really show the true ethos of the Army Cadet Force ‘Inspire to Achieve’ I thank you all for the amazing effort.
Those in Headquarters have been working hard planning for post Covid ACF activities such as hopefully our first weekend away as a Sector in Jun 21 and then Annual Camp from 1 – 10 Aug 2021 at St Martin’s Plan Camp in Kent and Bramley Training area in Hampshire where we are planning a full and exciting programme of activities for our Cadets and CFAVs. We are also working with the London District Cadet training team so we will able to offer refresher training to our CFAVs ensure when we are able to return were ready.
I am looking forward to the day when we can once again return to normal Cadet activities but in the mean time please stay safe, follow the Governments guideline and please keep up with the amazing work keeping ACF flame alive within South West London ACF.
Thank you for all you do in supporting Army Cadets.
