The conference brought together Adult Volunteers from our five Companies, as well as members of the County Training Team and the Permanent Support Staff. It gave the Commandant the opportunity to introduce himself to the County and to lay out his plans for the future.
It also gave him the opportunity to meet many of our Volunteers, and to give out awards - these included three Letters Of Appreciation (given for six years service) and a promotion to Captain for B Company's Admin Officer.
Due to previous Covid restrictions, it was also the first time for many months that the Adult Volunteers from different Companies could get together, renew old friendships and even make new ones.
