The time has sadly come for us to say goodbye to Cadet RSM Logan Walter. He has now reached the age of 18 which is the end of his cadet career.

The Cadet RSM is the highest rank a cadet can attain and is achieved only by those who demonstrate the highest standards of commitment, integrity, and knowledge. The Cadet RSM has a significant leadership role for the cadets. They are the link between cadets, the Adult RSM and the Commandant to ensure that the vision and direction of the county is consistent with the needs of the cadets.

Our Commandant, Col Catherine Harrison said “Cadet RSM Logan Walter has been awarded the Commandant's Coin for being an inspiration to so many throughout his tenure. He has raised the aspirations of others, and this makes him a ‘Force for Good’.”

A card was sent along with the Commandants Coin to Cadet RSM Walter thanking him for his dedication to Greater Manchester ACF.

This won’t be the last we hear from Cadet RSM Walter as he has expressed an interest to return as an adult volunteer. This is great news as he has been a real inspiration to so many cadets. We look forward to when he returns.

An award of the Commandants Coin is truly deserved. Well done.
