Cheshire Army Cadet Force (ACF) understands that its adult volunteers lay at the heart of all its activities, and strives to recognise the dedication, skill and hard work of its CFAVs.

With face-to-face activities now resuming, the Commandant Colonel Andy Webster visited Weaverham Detachment to present the Cadet Forces Medal to Lt Pete Maddock.

Before joining the ACF, Lt Maddock severed with the Royal Corps of Signals and their internationally acclaimed motorcycle display team, the famous White Helmets.

Lt Maddock joined the ACF just over 13 years ago and received his commission in 2016. Since 2018, he has been the Detachment Commander for Weaverham Detachment.
