Yesterday evening, over 45 Cadets and Adult Instructors joined Dorset ACF Commandant, Col Richard Taylor for a fascinating insight into the Regimental History of the Royal Tank Regiment as part of our program of County-wide Virtual Training.
As the Official Historian of the Royal Armoured Corps, Col Taylor was ideally placed to deliver the presentation which covered over 100 years of Regimental history followed by a question and answer session with the Cadets..
Col Taylor said: "The Regimental system is a fundamental part of the British Army and it's important that our Cadets have the opportunity to learn about the history of the Regiments who make up our five different Cap Badges within Dorset, hopefully, this will develop their interest across the whole of the British Army"
