Clwyd and Gwynedd’s Senior Cadet Retires
Reaching the grand old age of 18 means it’s time for Clwyd and Gwynedd’s Senior Cadet, Cadet RSM Ethan Thompson to retirement
Ethan joined Rossett Detachment in November 2016. Throughout his cadet career, he’s progressed through all his APC star awards, including achieving the coveted status of Master Cadet. Ethan has been a very active member of his detachment, company, and battalion. He’s represented the region in Welsh sports competitions, Tough Mudder, The Cadet Cambrian Patrol Competition, and several shooting competitions including the Welsh CADSAAM.
Captain Daniel Jones Albuhera Company Second in Command said “His enthusiasm, leadership skills, intellect, and humour have resulted in him reaching the Rank of Cadet RSM, the most senior cadet in the region. He is respected by Cadets and CFAVs alike. Although the pandemic has limited some of the opportunities over the last 15 months, I hope you’ve enjoyed your time in the ACF, made some good memories and friends.” Adding “everyone in Albuhera Company wishes you all the very best of luck in your future career”
