Among the presentation was a mention of Major Tim Peake who became the first Army Air Corps pilot to live on the European Space Station. The Museum has on display a polo shirt worn by Major Tim actually on the space station donated by the man himself.

Dorset ACF's RSMI Matthews who himself served in the Army Air Corps was also present this evening and gave a short talk to the cadets about careers in the Army Air Corps and the wide range of trades available. He was impressed with the cadet's discipline and attitude during the evening's lecture.
