Camouflage Capers!

With plans for Company Camps in the summer and lots of practical hands-on activities for the cadets to get them back into the swing of things, it’s essential that our Adult Instructors are ready to hit the ground running to give the cadets the very best experience possible!This weekend was a mixture of training, with Skill At Arms for both Potential Instructors and our fully qualified instructors. There was also the M Qual, the equivalent of Exercise Conducting Officer, and is the qualification needed to run an exercise. Of course, with plans in place for the full return to training, it’s incredibly important that we ensure everyone is up to date, fully qualified and safe!One extra surprise this weekend was the promotion of Jeff Harris to Sergeant Major Instructor. Jeff is a key member of G&P and brings with him a wealth of expertise, experience and good humour! He can always be relied upon to support both adults and cadets and is very well respected by all. His promotion is incredibly well deserved!All in all, it was a fantastic weekend and lovely to see the buzz of enthusiasm surrounding the return to training. The Training Team, led by Captain Russell, have done a fantastic job in providing the package of training over the last few months.Cadets - we’re ready for you!
