On Thursday 27 May 2021 the current Cadet RSM Logan Walter, met up with cadets and staff from No 3 (Somme) Company.
Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major is the highest rank for a cadet to attain and is truly a rank earned by any cadet. They have completed all the training a Cadet can do, to become a Master Cadet and have during their time trained cadets and become a proficient leader of cadets.
Due to current ongoing restrictions, Cadet RSM Walter met his fellow cadets via Zoom. He talked about his career with cadets, which culminated in the honour of being the Cadet RSM. He spoke of his training and the all the happy times he has had in Greater Manchester ACF.
Speaking to some of the cadets in the meeting, just starting out in their cadet careers, he explained they could also one day be the cadet RSM. They need to work hard and take all the opportunities that come their way.
Cadet RSM Walter gave an inspirational talk to the cadets present and shown that he lives by the motto of the ACF. To inspire to achieve. To inspire younger cadets to achieve their true potential.
