30 years Service!

AUO Andrew Mead has clocked up an impressive 30 years service with the Army Cadet Force. Starting back in 1991!

He has served in several locations but has spent a large time as a driving force behind music in the county. He had served as Drum Major and worked hard to promote music within the county.He was recently presented the third clasp to the Cadet Force Medal. recognising his 30 years as an adult instructor. This has been a year of achievements for Andrew as he was also recently successful at the Regional Officer Selection Board and will be commissioned and appointed as Second Lieutenant in the near future.

Alongside Andrew three B Company stalwarts were also recognised with awards. The Officer Commanding B Company, Major Tim Trougton, was awarded the First Clasp to the Cadet Forces Medal recognising 18 years service. Staff Officer Training Captain Dave Linford and the Company Sergeant Major Michael Danby were both awarded the Cadet Forces Medal Recognising 12 years service.
