This weekend 24 to 26 March 2023. Cadets from C Company descended on Driffield CTC for their Company Camp.
Two days of horizontal rain mixed with a bit of sunshine didn't dampen Cadets enthusiasm.
Cadets focused mainly on Skill at Arms, Air Rifle Shooting, Drill and Turn Out, Signals and First Aid - with lots of subject passes completed.
The weekend completed with a final parade at Scarborough Barracks in front of cadet’s parent’s which is a first for Humberside and South Yorkshire Army Cadet Force. A parent said "it’s nice to see cadets in full uniform marching onto the parade square and receiving awards."

Integrity - Cadet Goff
Loyalty - Cadet Galsworthy
Selfless Commitment - Cadet Spreadborough
As well as promotions for Cadets to Lance Corporal for :- Cadet Goff, Cadet Ledger, Cadet Littlechild, Cadet Johnson and Cadet Schonwalder.
Two great days with some Positive and Inspiring Instructors and some amazing Cadets
Major Erica McCabe, Officer Commanding (OC) C Company Said:
"As my first weekend as OC, I could not wish for a better one. That is due to your hard work and dedication to our cadets. I value the work and time you give to the organisation and this has paid off this weekend. You have all played a vital part in achieving the outcomes we have and in turn, impacted our cadets for the better.
"I feel so privileged to be commanding this outstanding company and I am looking forward to what is ahead for us with this strong team".
