The week long camp focussed on various aspects on the music syllabus, with cadets learning music theory, music specific drill and how to both play and maintain their chosen instrument whilst working with like minded cadets, CFAVs, Reserves and Regular serving soldiers from across the country.
The week was a success across the board, with Nottinghamshire Cadets successfully passing their star board assessments in the 1*, 2* and 3* syllabus, and the week culminating in the final parade performances in front of Inspecting Officer Lord Lingfield - Honourary Colonel, Army Cadets Music.
We look forward to the next music camp, to be held in October where our cadets can progress even further in their music careers
