Cadet Corporal Finley Allison, Cadet Lance Corporal Finn Goodman, and Cadet Corporal Luke Fairbairn have been praised by the police and received Young Heroes Awards after they administered first aid in a traffic accident in May this year.
The three were on their way to cadets when they witnessed a scooter driving inappropriately, then flipping resulting in the rider falling off.
Thinking quickly, they surveyed the scene, looked for potential hazards and controlled the traffic. The rider was suffering from shock so they administered First Aid and called for an ambulance.
The cadets did a fantastic job and kept a level head while working together to get the situation under control and ensure the casualty was taken care of.
