Cadet Headington is pictured with his sister, who is also a Strensall Detachment cadet - and, in the other picture, we can see the very impressive trophy that he won on his way to qualifying for the World Championships.
His mother, when speaking to the local press, said: "This will be Bradley’s toughest tournament challenge to date, but the experience alone will develop Bradley’s future in tournament fighting no end."
The hardworking and dedicated cadet has now set himself another task - raising the £3500 he'll need to fund the trip to Italy in the autumn. He plans to use running, walking and his exercise bike to cover the equivalent distance from John O' Groats to Lands’ End twice, which is a total of 2,168 miles, and is busy looking for sponsors.
Well done, Cadet Headington, and our best wishes for your success!
