Award of Commander 160th (Welsh) Brigade Coin.

On behalf of the Commandant, the Deputy Commandant Lt Col Gavin M Jones visited Holywell Detachment this evening to present the Detachment Commander AUO Louise McCabe-Allen with her Commander 160th (Welsh) Brigade Coin for Excellence. Very well deserved!

Lt Col Jones said “it was a pleasure to present this coin on behalf of the Commandant to AUO McCabe-Allen, her inspirational methods of keeping the flame alive during two periods of lockdown was exemplary, this award is very well deserved”

Commandant, Colonel Martin L Craven said “Throughout the hard times of the first lockdown, AUO McCabe-Allen displayed selfless commitment week in week out ensuring that the flame was kept alive for both cadets and adult volunteers. Without a doubt, she has earned this award. Well done Louise.”
