Autumn Camp - Parents Information
Cumbria ACF will be organising an Autumn Camp during October Half Term 23-29 Oct 21.
The aim is to conduct 1 and 2 Star training during the week and to get Cadets to the next Star level.
There will also be Adventure Training activities for 2 and 3-Star Cadets, including caving and ghyll scrambling.
Who: Any Cadet registered as a member of the ACF by 1 Sep 21 can apply to attend.
When: Coaches depart Cumbria Sat 23 Oct (am) and return to Cumbria at lunchtime on Fri 29 Oct 21.
Where: Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Strensall, Near York.
Transport: Cumbria ACF will provide transport for the Cadets to/from York. Collection and drop off points to follow. Cadet and CFAVs will travel in uniform.
What to bring: A kit list is attached to this letter.
Cost: £35 which will cover transport, accommodation and feeding.
Application: All Parent Consent Forms (PCFs ) must be at County HQ no later than 1200 hrs Fri 17 Sep 21. Please submit with payment to Detachment Commanders no later than Wed 15 Sep 21.
Adventure Training (AT). – Cadets on 2-Star Training will be participating in water-based AT. Please confirm on the PCF that your son/daughter is confident in water.
