This week musically minded cadets from the County have attended the annual National Music camp at Altcar DTE in Merseyside.
The Corps of Drums have had a successful time at National Music Camp and were recipients of various awards including:
Best Flute on 3* (LCpl Shermer - COD)
Best Drummer on 3* (Cdt Jackson, Uttoxeter)
Best Bugler on 4* (Cpl Shermer, COD)
Highest Achiever on 4* (Cpl Shermer, COD)
Best Flute on Beginner COD (LCpl Holland, D Coy)
Most improved Flute beginner COD (LCpl Proctor, D Coy)
All Cadets attending Altcar had an incredibly successful camp and they were praised for their politeness, professionalism and hard work.
There were personal achievements all round even for those who didn't win an award.
