WOW we are on Day 4 already!
All the Cadets have had their days filled with Military Skills and Adventure activities, The Two and Three Star Cadets are out on their fieldcraft exercise, the One Star Cadets were invited to have a go at another part of our County activities MUSIC.
Yes that's right we offer music in the Royal County of Berkshire Army Cadets!
We boast a huge Cadet Band of over 28 Cadets and 9 Adults, not only do they experience all the Green Military themed activities, they also provide the music to the County and community events across Berkshire. They have their own Star Levels and can gain badges and certificates too.
We are also very lucky to have some very experienced Corps of Drums Instructors and we are now bringing back our Marching Corps of Drums.
A young person does not need to be able to play either a Concert Band instrument or a Corps of Drums instrument, just a willingness to learn and the Instructors will teach them not only to play but to read music.
As you can see from the photo's the Cadet's really enjoyed taking part and we have had some who will be joining the Corps of Drums up and coming weekends to become MUSICIANS!!!!,
