What an amazing weekend as 22 Probationary Instructors (PIs) complete their Basic Induction Course (BIC) held at the County HQ, Fox Barracks.
Every single probationary instructor brings something completely different to the ACF sharing experiences from both military and civilian life which helps to make the ACF such a diverse organisation.
The weekend consisted of fieldcraft, shooting, skill at arms and teaching practise, all helping them to prepare for the next stage of training and eventually gain their well-earned Sergeant stripes!
The weekend concluded with all of the probationary instructors signing the Volunteer Agreement and completing the CFAV Promise in front of the Commandant.
The Commandant, Lt Colonel Webster said “It’s fantastic to see so many enthusiastic adult volunteers starting out on their journey with Cheshire Army Cadet Force. Congratulations and well done all”
As the county continues to go from strength to strength, we are already preparing for a new cohort of potential Instructors in September – more details to follow!
