ALM COURSE

ADULT LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT COURSE

ALM COURSE

17 March 2023

  • Wiltshire ACF
BACK TO WILTS ACF

This week saw three Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) from Juno Company, Wiltshire Army Cadet Force, attend Frimley Park for the ALM Course. *Frimley Park is the Home of the Army Cadet Force and Combined Cadet Force.

Staff Sergeant Instructors (SSI) Rich Dutton, Chrissy Hinde and Sergeant Instructor (SI) Andy Philp attended this week-long course showing Selfless commitment and Loyalty to our Cadets by taking time out from their families and their regular employment, to help give our cadets the best possible cadet experience.

The Aim is to study the organisation, administration, management, training of the Army Cadets at the Detachment level and deliver leadership training.

We wish our three CFAVs the best of luck.

If you would be interested in the ALM Course, further details are below, or see your CoC.

*Cadet Training Centre (CTC) Frimley Park is the national centre of excellence for Army Cadet training. Set up in 1959 in Surrey, we deliver a variety of training courses to volunteers in the Army Cadet Force (ACF) and the schools-based Combined Cadet Force (CCF), helping Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) understand the cadet movement and ethos, and teaching them to train cadets effectively and safely. We also deliver the Master Cadet course to senior Army cadets (aged 16+) and host the annual Champion Cadet Competition to find the best cadet in the UK.
