Cadets recently took to the Dunkeld area to embark on their Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. With the sun shining brightly, it provided the perfect backdrop for a weekend filled with adventure and accomplishment.
A total of 13 cadets participated in their Bronze Qualifier Expedition. This challenging journey marked a significant milestone in their Duke of Edinburgh Award progression, as they navigated through the scenic landscapes of Dunkeld, demonstrating teamwork, resilience, and outdoor skills.
Simultaneously, 7 cadets were engaged in their Silver Practice Expedition. This phase is crucial in preparing them for their final Silver Qualifier Expedition, honing their skills and building confidence for the challenges ahead. The cadets displayed commendable determination and camaraderie as they trekked through the terrain.
The weekend was also an important step for 2 Adult Volunteers, who were undertaking their Expedition Supervisor Course. Their dedication to furthering their skills ensures that future expeditions will be safely and effectively supervised, providing invaluable support to the cadets.
