On Saturday 29th October, 5 Platoon Maidenhead and the honour of holding a Guard of Honour at National League football club, Maidenhead United.
Spectated by over a thousand people, the aim of the event was to spread awareness of Berkshire Army Cadet Force, fundraise for the clubs chosen charity, and hold a Guard of Honour during the player walk out.
The day was a huge success, with the cadets showing true professionalism, pride and above all, courage. Ed Knott, Detachment Commander and his staff were extremely proud of the cadets’ efforts and their spirits whilst engaging with the local community.
