In the First of what is hoped to become an Annual Event, Cadets, their families and friends are being asked to make donations of non-perishable foods such as cans, dried pasta, packet desserts and cake mixes to their local Detachment from now until 9th May.
On Saturday 10th May, those of our CFAVs who are also Motorcyclists will be making a trip around all the Detachments in the County collecting the donations and distributing them to local food banks in the area. The total journey is estimated to be around 250 miles.
Times are tough for everyone, but especially so for those on lower incomes. Suffolk ACF is keen to play its part in helping the local communities that our Cadets are from. Community Engagement is a Core Subject within the ACS Syllabus and we are putting that into action with this event. Please support us in any way you can.
