Congratulations to Our New Army Cadet Instructors!
Developing Skills. Inspiring Cadets. Leading by Example.
The Battalion is delighted to congratulate Sgts Marschall, McGrath and MacDonald, who successfully completed their Basic Instructor Assessment in Edinburgh over the past week.
This achievement marks an important milestone in their development as Cadet Force Adult Volunteers. It also reflects their commitment, determination and willingness to develop the skills needed to deliver effective training and support our Cadets.
Developing the Next Generation of Army Cadets
Becoming an instructor involves much more than passing an assessment. It means setting the right example, sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for Cadets to learn, grow and build confidence.
Effective instructors play a vital role in the Army Cadet Force. Through their guidance and encouragement, they help young people develop valuable life skills, discover their potential and work towards their goals.
Furthermore, quality instruction helps create a positive learning environment where Cadets feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed.
An Important Step Forward
Completing the Basic Instructor Assessment demonstrates a commitment to personal development and the responsibilities that come with instructing others.
As they continue their journey, these three Sergeants will have opportunities to apply their learning, build their experience and contribute to the development of Cadets across the Battalion.
Their achievement also highlights the importance of investing in our Adult Volunteers. By developing their skills, we strengthen the training, support and opportunities available to the next generation.
Congratulations, Sergeants
We extend our congratulations to Sgts Marschall, McGrath and MacDonald on successfully completing their assessment.
Thank you for your commitment to learning, your dedication to the Army Cadet Force and your willingness to make a difference in the lives of our Cadets.
Be the standard. Lead by example. Make a difference.
