A massive well done to all the cadets who took part in the recent Drill Team Selection and Training.

Taking part in a selection process takes courage, confidence and determination. Every cadet who stepped forward should be proud of the effort they showed.

The selection process provided an opportunity for cadets to challenge themselves, develop their skills and demonstrate their commitment to drill.

Congratulations to all the cadets who successfully secured a place on the Drill Team.

Your hard work, commitment and attention to detail have been recognised. However, selection is only the beginning.

Now, the focus turns to continued training, teamwork and maintaining the high standards expected from a Drill Team.

Keep pushing. Keep learning. Keep improving.

Determination Matters

A special mention must also go to those cadets who were not selected this time.

You should be proud of yourselves.

You stepped forward, accepted the challenge and gave it your best. That takes determination, courage and resilience.

Importantly, not being selected on this occasion does not define your ability or your potential.

Instead, use the experience as an opportunity to learn. Identify areas where you can improve, keep training and come back stronger.

Drill is about much more than movements and precision. It also develops important skills such as discipline, teamwork, confidence, concentration and resilience.
