The Cadet Vocational College aims to deliver its qualifications in a fun, interactive and engaging way through a blended approach to learning, supported by a dedicated Teaching & Learning team.

The BTEC Qualification is delivered alongside cadet activities through the syllabus such as volunteering in the community and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. It’s modular approach means learners can choose their subject to research, present and write about.

The qualification is recognised by colleges, universities and employers, and is designed to help develop skills and knowledge, relevant to the wider world. Such as employability, leadership and teamwork skills.

Equivalent to a Level 5 SCQF (Scottish Curriculum Qualification Framework), meaning it can be an addition to a young persons CV to show they have skills and knowledge which can be desirable to an employer or higher education.
