Cadet Training Centre motto Renovate Animos: Refresh the Spirit

The main purpose of the Cadet Training Centre is to train the volunteer Officers and Adult Instructors of the ACF, teaching them to train their cadets safely and to inspire them in new ways of conducting training.

The AIs Course is now known as the Skill At Arms (SAA) Course.  Successful completion of this course qualifies the ACF Officer or Adult Instructor as a Cadet Force Skill-at-Arms Instructor.  It is also a pre-requisite for promotion to Staff Sergeant Instuctor or Lieutenant.
