Hykeham climbing taster day

Cadets from North Hykeham Detachment attended a climbing taster day at the all new 'Showroom' on their great new climbing facility on Tritton Road in Lincoln. The cadets had a great day at the centre which included a 2 hour session on the wall learning new techniques and skills, this also gave some of the cadets the incentive to learn climbing skills towards their DofE Physical section.
The remainder of the day was spent on other activities at the centre including other sporting games, games arcade and an indoor football sports cage where they could again put into practice other skills which they use in the Army Cadet Force, especially as some cadets who attended had recently played at the Army Cadet Force National Football competition.
