Cadets from A Company attended an adventurous training weekend back in September this year.
They stayed at three locations across the Peak District - Fleet Green Farm, Upper Hulme, and Leek and would complete three activities namely - walking, abseiling and rock climbing.
In mixed weather the cadets walked about 10 kilometres up and along kinder scout whilst undertaking map and compass instruction.
The abseiling took place at Millers Dale, nr Buxton, and was a 90ft drop down towards the river below. The final activity took place at The Roaches and was challenging due to the polished rock terrain.
The 15 cadets had a challenging but fun filled weekend with teh assistance of six adult instructors. A coy would also like to thank Lt V Hall (D Company) who assisted with the climbing, and SSI E Ainger (D Company) who headed up the walk on Kinder for their invaluable assistance over the weekend.
