Exercise Itchyfoot 2012, will take place in the Peak District over the period 2-8 Jun 12. All cadets and CFAVs will be accommodated at Swynnerton Training Camp, Cold Meece, Nr Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 0QN for the duration of the Exercise. The first meal for all will be evening meal on Saturday.
The aim of Ex ITCHYFOOT 2012. Is to give cadets varied and quality adventure training experience.
There are 8 places available per Company and cadets are to be 14yrs or older and preferably hold Star 1. The cost of the event is £80. Names are to be added to Westminster by 14 March 2012 and parental consent forms and full payments are to be with Lt Col Coffin by
11 April 2012
Ex ITCHYFOOT will offer cadets the following opportunities:
a. Climbing at the Roaches, nr Leek
b. Abseiling from a bridge at Millers Dale
c. Trekking on the Dark Peak, nr Edale
d. Assisting the Park Rangers with a project in the Peak District
e. Kayaking and Mountain biking at Carsington Water
f. Skiing at the indoor centre in Tamworth
