Meet The Royal Dragoon Guards - Ireland and Yorkshire’s Armoured Regiment

Four detachments of the Cheshire Army Cadet Force from A and C Companies descended upon Northwich Detachment to meet members of the Royal Dragoon Guards (RDG). The evening commenced with a short video highlighting aspects of the RDG's recent tour in Afghanistan. Then came the piste de résistance, a chance for the cadets to speak with the soldiers: learn about and get hands on with some of the regiments state of the art equipment. The evening was an unmitigated success and arrangements have been made to keep in touch with the regiment.
