About BTEC:
Cadets can gain a vocational qualification through the Cadet Vocational Qualification Organisation (CVQO). The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in public services is a recognised vocational equivalent to 4 standard grades.
The BTEC is widely recognised qualification, confirming participating cadets have attained key vocational skills, such as teamwork, leadership, self discipline, tenacity & self motivation. These are skill employers are looking for in additional to the normal high school academic qualifications.
This qualification is open to cadets who are over 16 years old and have completed their 2 star training and requires the completion of the following steps to secure an award.

Forthcoming events:
BTEC workbook weekend 11th to 13th May 2012 in Arrochar. This weekend will help cadets complete their workbooks. Contact your detachment commander to book a place on this weekend.
