Annual Camp is without a doubt the highlight of the year for cadets
Every day at annual camp is packed full of exciting and challenging activities, some of which you might not ever tried before. For many cadets the high point is the chance to spend a number of nights living out in the field, learning military tactics and fieldcraft in mock ambush situations. Adventurous training is another focus, with abseiling, mountain biking, clay target shooting and kayaking often on the agenda.
Annual camp gives you the opportunity to go away with the other members of the ACF in your county for one or two weeks of the school summer holiday. You get to meet cadets from other detachments in your county, some of whom often become friends for life. Annual camps are held on the Army’s training camps in different locations across the UK.
